A worthy Spot

I got this link from one of my friends on Twitter. It is FASCINATING, and worth a look through. I could spend hours here.

THE Santa

Santa comes to visit every few years. He stays with my husband's best friend's parents. You know, he needs a little break right before the season. But he always lets us come visit.

Here he is making his list:

There is something

There is something about this family that is so easy to photograph. I think this is year #4 for me. The mom has such creamy skin with such fun hair that has a punch of color. The Dad is super chill and the kids laugh easily. Who could ask for more?

Those kinds of shots

See this first picture? Could someone PLEASE PLEASE come take one of me with any one of my children? Thanks. This family was fun to shoot. The kids were super cute and easily bribed with dum dums. I LOVE taking big head pictures (the picture at the end). And this is one of my favorites. I think it's her mary janes that make it--and her super funny expression.

The fun one

Remember my bus pictures? This is my super fun friend that owns that bus. She's super cool (obviously) and is usually laughing--which is just how you see her here. Her daughter turned 12 so we got together. Her super foxy mom joined in too. F.Y.I. my super cool friend and her mom are single. Pass it along.

Friendish

So when you photograph people each year you feel like friends. Friends that only see each other once a year. It's strange--but feels comfortable. That is how this family is to me. It's fun to see them each year and watch their daughter grow. She just the hit the super cute and easy to shoot stage. She's a doll--here is the proof.

All Time

Sorry to everyone else I've photographed, but this had to be my funnest session of all time. I had a smile on my face the whole time--the kind that makes your face hurt. This boy has Autism and I assumed it was going to be a challenging session. Um. Wrong. It was all smiles, all fun, all the time. And the family is the nicest, funnest family. We got some shots of him and his sister. They have such a sweet relationship. I was so happy to capture it. I just know the mom is going to love. I do.

Color

I shot at my friend's house again, and somehow never noticed that her neighbor has a bright blue cool house, so we snuck over there and took some shots. And sometimes when older sisters don't think it's cute that their little brother hooked his arm around their neck--they make a face that makes the picture even better than if they did. Love it.
