I bought my camera to take pictures of my kids. I wanted to capture moments like these when my Dad came down to take my girls to a horse show. A point and shoot just wouldn't have done it justice. I love the second one which was taken from the shiny part of a rig.

Third Friday

If you know me at all you know that I've taken an online photography course from Wendy Shulz whom I highly recommend. It turns out that she lives here. So once a month all of the local girls who have taken her class get together to shoot. Usually we shoot each other, but this time we shot at a junkyard of sorts. Here are some of my shots.

Patches

I patched my girl's jeans and I took a picture. I thought it turned out pretty cool. Full sun is fun to play with.

Through the Pain

I love this little family. They are the funnest to shoot and their interaction with their daughter is just perfect. This poor mom though, she hurt her back and was in some pain. And get this--she hurt it by folding a sheet. Totally messed up her back. So be careful of laundry. You've been warned.
