A State Away

There will be a lot of pictures in this post. Because this lovely girl lives in California and won't be getting her images as soon as most people--so I am giving her more to see on my blog. I just read on another photographer's blog about how sometimes when we capture images--it is for ourselves. Some of these are for me--to try new things--new textures--new looks. And I'm sure she probably doesn't mind either. So that makes us both happy. **This first shot is one of my all time favorite shots I've ever captured**

Look familiar?

I've shot this family multiple times. It's rad--because she's a photographer. So I just plug her memory card into my camera . .. then shoot away . . . then eject the memory card and hand it to her. Then she does all the work and sends me a couple of her faves. Diggity done. So here they are. It was fun because she can shoot her individual kids, and her kids with her husband, so we just did family shots and then shots of her with each kid. I also found a new favorite location. She was wondering how she should display them. And I think she should make a wall of 9 (12 x 12) square pics. All of these are squareable. Wouldn't that be fun?

Candid

I love this family. They just moved away--and we all miss them tons. So before they left we did a little shoot. It was fun, it was casual, it was candid. They turned out fantastic.

The Giggles

She's cute. She's talented. She giggles. And she was super fun to shoot. I love it when seniors bring things that mean something to them. It makes for cool shots.
