The whole Fam Damly

Here is my husband's family. This is the first huge group shot I've ever done--and I botched it. I cut off my brother in-law's leg, so in this photo I went ahead and cropped it so it looked like I did it on purpose. Lesson learned. The rest of the family is in birth order. However our family is not represented because I didn't think to ask someone to take our pictures. We belong between the bottom two. As you will see this is a family of gorgeous teeth and squinty eye smiles. I'm thinking some of you may see these and say--hey I went to high school with her. If so, give me a shout out and I'll pass it along. Tell me your fave!

Eliana

More photos from the family reunion. I'm slow. There are so many that I just avoid it. I really need to trudge through and get them all done because I'm not taking any more photos until I get these done. Anyhoodles, this is Eliana and I probably spelled it wrong. This is Hyrum's cousin and her husband. I don't know why I only mention the kids and not the parents, but I'm on a roll and not stopping now. She wasn't to keen on taking photos so we had to trick her. We got some good shots though. Sorry Shauna, didn't mean to cut of your arm on that one. I've been hard on myself for pictures like that because I swear-it only happens on really good shots. But I have to keep reminding myself that I just started taking photos in January. Tell me which is your favorite!

ELIZA ELIZA ELIZA

I got my first copy of Eliza today!!! It's the coolest magazine e-ver. It's hip modest fashion. I've been waiting for it for years. I found it on Amelia Lyons' blog (I blogstalk her). Hyrum's cousin knows her so I started blogstalking her months ago because she is a kick-a photographer. She did some photos for it. Then as I was telling my uber good friend Darcy, she said that her sister Suener had been interviewed for it. You can check out her hip designs here. Coo-Li-O. So now I had to have it. I signed up and here it is. So now it is my job to tell the world. I have no other connection to this magazine other than what I've listed, so take my word. It Frickin Rocks. So I want you all to plug it. Sign up, get your copy and plug it.

Who doesn't love Photobooth? Oh, and this is me if you don't know--I don't believe I've been on my blog before. I guess I'm usually behind the camera instead of in front.

More Cousins

This is another one of Hy's cousins and her husband and daughter. When I first shot them I thought I was only getting more snapshotish pictures--not much posing on my part. As I pulled them up I was very happy to see that I got some good shots. At least I think so. Tell me which is your favorite! OH-blogger is screwing with me and is stacking my pictures, I don't know what's up with that. Maybe it'll fix itself. Just know--not my doing.

Utah baby session

Here finally are some of the photos from Utah. Hyrum's mother's family had a reunion and I was able to pull some of them aside and do mini photo sessions with them. This is his cousin's new baby girl--isn't she so sweet with that curly hair?? I shot all of these in Raw format and am slowly learning how to do adjustments in Adobe Bridge as well as applying new Kubota actions--which I will do a complete ode to when I find some time. They are awesome. Tell me what you think.

Flour Clothing

Before I left for Utah I was able to get some fabulous dresses for my girls made by Kayleen of Flour Clothing. You have to check them out. She makes the best dresses ever! So I wanted to do a little photo shoot of the dresses while we were in Utah and were to be outside. The other cute little girl in the photos is Ada who is Jami's daughter. Her dress is flour clothing as well. I didn't get a shot of her but her mom did and I'm sure will be posting it. Jami taught me alot in the few days I was there and I will be sharing more pictures--I will also elaborate later on the actions I used in this post. Let me know what you think. And check out FLOUR CLOTHING!

Teaser

Here is a teaser for some of the stuff I'm working on. I went to Utah and did a few shoots and my friend Jami Broadbent encouraged me to shoot RAW. So I am doing some post processing and there will be more to come. Are you kidding me with this kid?? I should sign her with Ford.
