113 . . . no problem

I love the heat. But it usually doesn't look good on people. However, my friend Ashley somehow convinced her husband and kids that it would look good on them. And it does. Yes, the day we shot these the thermometer peaked at 113. We took these around 6-7 pm so I don't think it was that hot, but it was pretty close. The kids did great, and so did the husband, and he's a big warm guy. It was kind of hard because we took these at the tracks--and those puppies were hot. And my big ol' pregnant belly wasn't helping either. It's the first time I've shot there, and I have wanted to shoot there forever. Ashley does photos too, so I let her have the images before I did, so she posted hers Here and Here. Then I though it would be fun to see my tweak on the images. It's fun seeing what other people do. I loved the turn out of these photos. I borrowed this Canon 30D from my husband's friend. I'm in love. I love my Nikon, but Canon just pulls the colors that I want. Anyhow, here they are. The balloons were her idea--I love the color.
