Colors Assignment

I know what you're all thinking---finally. Well it's hard when I don't have photoshop. The CS3 I want doesn't ship until mid April, and I'm wondering what that means. Anyhow, I had to wait until I could have an open lab at class. So here is our assignment. Color was our focus so among other things (shooting a bowl of white eggs in different lighting with different white balances--boring, easy, but informative), we were given certain focuses. We had to shoot monochromatic pictures, then complementary (opposite color wheel). After that the 5th part of our assigment was to use color as your subject. So here are my results. We have to turn in all six color as subject, then two monochrome and two complementary. Tell me what you think---I really thought this assignment was rather fun.

COLOR AS SUBJECT

COMPLEMENTARY

Very cool! I want to go with you when you go to these cool places, with the colored walls. The lollipop pics are great!

i really enjoy the 2nd and 3rd (lollipops & red chair). it's hard to make a typically "boring" subject feel interesting, but you make it happen in those pics. good job!

Strawberry's pose is so cute in the monochromatic one! The first one looks like something they would have poster size at IKEA...love it!
