My First Background Shoot
I've never taken any photos using a background before. So today I went to SAS Fabrics by the Pound and purchased a few. I told the girls they'd get a frozen treat if they took pictures. Bribing them is the only thing that works. Annabelle was being a ham--that never happens. And Josie kept getting closer and closer to me and I couldn't ever get a good still picture of her. I had low lighting so again, I had to shoot at slow shutter speeds, but I got some good shots. Then as I was editing my photos on my giant screen I noticed a lot of noise. So I checked my camera--I was at ISO 640 . . .???? I really need to reset my camera each time I use it. Too late. Oh well, that is the beauty of learning. So here are my girls. Notice that little chocolate is missing--she was too busy, I couldn't get a still shot of her so I didn't even really try. (I"ve decided to refer to my girl's as Strawberry, Vanilla and Chocolate after reading an article about blogging) Anyhow, you should be able to tell who is who. I also realized that this is the last time I'll shoot the Strawberry without a shirt--she's just getting too big . . .wipe a tear.

Amazing! I love these pics! You are so very creative and the girls are so cute! Love the one of strawberries back and pig tails--could be in a magazine! Good news--Micah is going to get me a camera with our tax return--now i just have to find a college that I can take an online photo class from!
So much fun, I loved them all! I have been dying to do this, I think I just got enough inspiration to actually do it!
YOU ARE AMAZING! My favorites are the one of Strawberry up close with her OK sign over her eye and the one of Vanilla up close with the Strawberry in the background. I want to have a "lesson" from you when you have time. These are all great. It was hard to choose favorites. Way to go "little jill"!
Like I said in your email love the hair picture and the ok over eye. By the way why is Strawberry's belly blue in the first one?
I just noticed the blue thing-I'm guessing it's my lighting. The window was up higher and if you notice the background is lighter and then fades to dark. I really have no idea
So cute! want to take some of toms? that would be grand!
